Bābājī uses Bṛhad Parāśara Horā Śāstra, the original source of Vedic astrological wisdom, exclusively in his Jyotish teaching work. He also teaches Jyotish to his advanced students at the Esoteric Teaching University of Higher Knowledge as part of the Bhakti-vaibhāva Degree Program.

Bābājī does Jyotish readings over the Internet, recording the reading and uploading an MP3 file to our server. You must know your date, accurate time and place of birth. A basic, 60-minute reading is a US$201 suggested minimum donation. Professional astrologers charge up to twice as much for a Jyotish reading, but they usually focus on the material side of life. Bābājī does not focus so much on external material predictions but on your inner self, attitudes toward life, opportunities for and process of spiritual progress. Yes, as of January 1, 2010 we are raising our recommended minimum donations for astrological services. Again. But we have also increased the length and quality of the readings. Bābājī is one of the most capable Vedic astrologers in the world, particularly in the realm of spiritual issues. He was not happy with feeling that he had to squeeze an entire reading into a limited time, compromising its completeness and quality. However, Bābājī is much more than an astrologer; he is also the spiritual master of the Esoteric Teaching āśram, the Master Teacher of the University of Higher Knowledge, and taking more time for each reading means he has less time for other important duties. So the solution is to do fewer, but higher-quality readings. The Comprehensive Reading is especially time-consuming, because of the amount of detailed research and manual calculation required. No other astrologer offers this service! The only other way to get such a reading is to go through our Esoteric Teaching University of Higher Knowledge Introduction to Vedic Astrology course and do it yourself.
